Current news

The Dog’s been busy throughout the summer with gigs at Northampton Music Festival, Wappenham Beer Festival, Cottingham Fete, the Corby Sausage and Cider Festival and even on the back of a truck for the Northampton Carnival!

Recently we played at the newly re-opened Fox at Wilbarston (see photo) and we’re back again for a Bank Holiday Special on Sunday 25th August.

For the Autumn we’re back at our ‘spiritual’ home at The Albion Brewery Bar in Northampton on 28th September with monthly visits through to Christmas.

The gallery shows what we’ve been up to! Steve’s Saxophone is getting regular outings for 3 tunes now: Love To Be Rich, The Cost of Love and The Only Thing – the latter inspired by David Attenborough’s program on climate change! Gotta be current if you’re gonna write a tune!

Did you know we’re a function band’ now too? If you’d like to book us for a private gig/function/event, please call Slim Steve on 07739 808009. Price includes PA, lighting and a sound-engineer.

If you haven’t done so yet, please listen to our EP, Howling! You can listen to it on SoundCloud (see link on front page) and if you go to the Videos tab, you can listen to Bernie Keith playing Howling, the title track, on BBC Radio – Rock’n’Roll Heaven!!!!

Late news: we just booked back in to The Pistachio Palace Studio in Kettering for a session in October to record the second half of out album! So far – 13 all original tunes!!! Who’s been a busy dog, then?!
